Abstract
The Colombian reality is framed by the peace process between the government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), carried out in Havana, Cuba. However, this is not the first attempt at a reconciliation, as the long-awaited peace for Colombian society has been sought since the early 1980s. Numerous national and international actors have been involved throughout history. Thus, this article focuses on analyzing the participation of the international community in the peace processes of Presidents Andrés Pastrana and Juan Manuel Santos.
