Summary of the investigations done on poverty in Colombia in the last decade

Abstract

The main purpose of this document is to review the investigation done on poverty by four recognized institutions The Center of Economical Development Studies (Centro de Estudios de Desarrollo Económico. CEDE) at Andes University, FEDESARROLLO, The National Planning Department (Departamento Nacional de Planeación. DNP), and the Faculty of Economical Sciences and the Research Center for Development (Centro de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo. CID) at the National University in Colombia during the last decade. In this document the relations and connections in this research is shown and classified. The conclusions are discussed in terms of their effects on public policies in Colombia.
