Migration processes are complex phenomena that broadly affect the assimilation of immigrants and the residents of the receiving country. The labor market is one of the areas that tend to be most affected, as immigrants seek incorporation into the economy of the destination countries. This research aims to identify the factors that affect wage gaps between Venezuelan immigrants and natives by gender, in the Colombian labor market using the Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH) for the year 2021, by means of the decomposition of Oaxaca (1973) and Blinder (1973). Some of the results found show that the greatest disadvantage is found for Venezuelan immigrant women and Colombian immigrant women with respect to their male counterparts. Some factors that increase the gap are possible discriminatory treatment and tending to be located in the service branches, under a type of verbal contract.
