Abstract
This Article argues the importance that people hove in the organization based on the concept of the individual as seen throughout history. The concept of human resources is clarified by quoting specialists that show people should be seen as talent. The essential elements are named that allow the individual to act as a strategic partner of the company and show the importance of designing a human talent strategy that is aligned with the corporate organizational strategy. Finally, a reference to the aspects that allow people to become a sustainable, competitive advantage are mentioned.
